Buying a Japan-import Seiko in the UK

Buying a Seiko from Japan directly usually means overseas sellers, listings in another language, international shipping and import paperwork. Buying a Japan-import Seiko from a UK retailer removes most of that.

What to check before you buy

  1. Is the seller clear about where the watch came from? Look for stated sourcing, not vague wording.
  2. Is the reference listed? The exact reference lets you confirm the model.
  3. What's in the box? Original box and papers matter for resale and peace of mind.
  4. What warranty applies? The manufacturer's card on imported stock is usually unstamped, so check who covers the watch.
  5. Where does it ship from? UK-held stock avoids import charges for UK buyers.

How ABA does it

Every Seiko we sell is bought in Japan, verified on our London bench and shipped open box with full box and papers, an Authentication Sheet and an origin label. Order before 12pm and UK stock ships the same day, backed by the 12-month ABA Warranty.
