Adam Barnsley is the founder of ABA Partners, a London company built around a small group of e-commerce ventures, with watches at the centre of it.

The Group
ABA Partners works across commerce, media and creative strategy. Adam sets the direction for each venture and works with his team on the running of them day to day.
The Watches
The watches are the centre of it: Japanese and Swiss pieces, including fine and rare references, sold across several platforms and sourced through international partners.
Most of what a collector or private buyer needs is straightforward — a fair price, an accurate description, careful logistics, and a watch that has been checked properly. Every piece is independently checked and verified before it reaches a client.
Beyond the Dial
Alongside the retail side, a small studio inside ABA Partners takes on brand, media and web work for a handful of clients. It runs on the same terms as everything else, applied to someone else's project.
“Once I had spoken to Adam and had every question answered, almost instantly, I was happy to go ahead, and very glad I did. It arrived quickly, exactly as described, and at a great price. I would happily buy from him again.

The Principle
It comes down to a few things. Look after the customer. Be straight about what you are selling. Keep every transaction fair, and when something goes wrong, deal with it quickly rather than argue about it.
None of that is clever. It is just worth more over time than any single sale.
If it isn't good enough to keep, it isn't good enough to sell.
