Are your watches genuine?
Yes. Every Seiko, Casio, BOSS and Timex we sell is genuine and goes through our 8-stage bench verification. Each ships with an ABA Authentication Sheet. Our ABA Custom pieces are modified or custom-built and are always labelled that way.
Are you an authorised dealer?
No. ABA is an independent retailer and isn't affiliated with any brand we sell. That's what lets us source watches internationally.
What does "sourced from Japan" mean?
We bought the watch in Japan and shipped it to our bench. It applies to our Seiko and Casio stock. Every one carries an origin label.
What does JDM mean?
Japanese Domestic Market. A JDM watch was made for sale in Japan. We only use the label on watches that genuinely are.
What condition are the watches in?
Open box (inspected only). Never used, never displayed, supplied with their original box and papers. The box is opened by us strictly for inspection, and none of our watches are customer returns. Each listing states exactly what is included.
Why is the warranty card unstamped?
Cards on imported stock aren't stamped by an authorised dealer. It's normal and doesn't affect authenticity. The 12-month ABA Warranty covers you instead.
When will my order ship?
UK stock ordered before 12pm ships the same day. ABA Custom Seiko-movement builds are made to order and ship in around 7 working days.
Where do you ship from?
UK stock ships from the UK, the same day if ordered before 12pm. ABA Custom Seiko-movement builds ship directly from our partner workshop in Partner workshop.
Will I pay import duties?
UK customers pay no duties on UK stock. International orders may be charged duties and taxes by the destination country. ABA Custom builds ship from overseas, so duties may apply wherever you are. See Shipping and Duties.
What warranty do I get?
12 months from ABA on every watch, on top of your statutory rights. Don't assume a manufacturer's UK warranty applies.
Can I return a watch?
Yes. 30 days from delivery, UK and international, on everything including ABA Custom.
Do you offer engraving or sizing?
Yes. Engraving, bracelet sizing or strap changes, and gift packaging are free on orders over £199.
How does the free gift work?
Every order includes a free gift worth £25, one per order however many watches you buy.
If your order includes a Seiko, the gift is a free Seiko leather strap, packed with your order. If it does not include a Seiko, including ABA Custom builds, the gift is £25 credit for your next order, emailed after dispatch.
Credit expires after 6 months, cannot be exchanged for cash, and is void if the order is returned or refunded.
