Where every ABA watch comes from.
We think you should know exactly where your watch came from before you buy it. Here's how each part of our range is sourced.
Seiko and Casio - sourced from Japan
We buy genuine Seiko and Casio watches in Japan, outside the brands' official UK distribution. Each watch is shipped to the UK, checked on our bench and listed only once it passes. Every one carries an origin label stating where it was sourced.
Some of our Seikos are JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) pieces, made for sale in Japan. We only use the JDM label on watches that genuinely are. "Sourced from Japan" means we bought it there. It doesn't automatically mean JDM.
BOSS and Timex - independent suppliers
Our BOSS and Timex watches are genuine, bought through independent suppliers rather than from Japan. They go through the same bench verification and ship with full box and papers.
ABA Custom - built, not sourced
CasiOak builds start as genuine Casio G-Shock GA-2100s, which we modify. Our Seiko-movement customs are our own designs, built to order by our partner workshop and shipped directly from our partner workshop. Neither is a factory original, and both are kept in their own collection.
What independent means for you
- ABA is not an authorised dealer and isn't affiliated with any brand we sell.
- Warranty cards on imported stock are unstamped. That's normal and doesn't affect authenticity.
- Don't assume a manufacturer's UK warranty applies. Your cover is the 12-month ABA Warranty, on top of your statutory rights.
- Every genuine watch ships with an ABA Authentication Sheet.
