ABA Watches is an independent London retailer of curated pre-owned and custom-built timepieces. We are small by choice — which means when you buy from us, you are dealing with the person who actually inspected your watch.
We are not a marketplace and we are not a dropshipper. Every watch we sell is in our hands, on our bench, before it is ever listed.
Most watches sold online are never handled by the seller. They move from a warehouse to your door and nobody in between has looked at them. That is why buying online can feel like a gamble.
We built the bench to take that risk off you. Every piece passes eight checkpoints — movement calibration, authentication against verified references, hands alignment, provenance and fitment, lume, power reserve, multi-angle inspection under raking light, and a final clean and sign-off. Where appropriate we use additional methods such as UV inspection. If a watch fails a stage, it is not listed.

You will always deal with a person here, not a ticket number. Ask us anything before you buy — how a piece actually wears, what condition it is really in, whether it will suit your wrist — and you will get a straight answer from someone who has physically handled it, usually within one business day.
Not sure on sizing? Tell us your wrist measurement at checkout and we will adjust the bracelet before it ships, free of charge. Buying it as a gift, or want it sent with a note? Just ask — we would rather you got it right than guessed.
And it does not stop at delivery. Every watch carries a 3-month ABA Warranty against mechanical fault under normal use: if something goes wrong, send it back, we inspect it and we replace it. Returns are 30 days in the UK and 14 days internationally, unworn and complete — custom builds included. No small print, no runaround, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
Every watch is prepared and dispatched by hand from London — usually within 1–2 working days, and the same day if you order before 12pm. Free UK delivery, fully insured and tracked door to door, so you always know where it is.
We keep our selection deliberately small. We would rather offer fewer watches we can genuinely stand behind than a catalogue we cannot.
Over the past four years we have supplied 500+ watches to clients in more than 10 countries — the UK, Europe, North America, Australia and Japan. A good proportion come back for a second or third piece, which is the part we are most proud of.
