EVERY WATCH. EVERY TIME.

The 8 Stage Bench Verification Process

No watch leaves our London bench until it has passed through eight checkpoints, each signed off by hand. This isn't a marketing line. It's the working process our watchmakers complete on every single piece, whether a custom Seiko build or a curated brand watch.
01

Movement Calibration

The movement is tested across multiple positions. We check beat rate, amplitude and beat error, regulating where needed so the watch runs within specification for its calibre.

02

Authentication & Reference Cross Check

Curated brand pieces are cross referenced against known genuine examples. Dial printing, engravings, movement markings and case detailing are compared using our reference library, AI assisted tools and a trusted network of professionals. For custom builds, we verify the correct fitment and condition of every donor part before assembly.

03

Hands Alignment Inspection

Hour, minute and seconds hands are checked for correct height, clearance and alignment at the 12 marker. We confirm no fouling through a full rotation and clean date changeover where fitted.

04

Provenance & Fitment

Reference, serial and supply route are recorded before work begins, and the paperwork is kept. Case, bezel, crown, caseback and bracelet are then checked for correct fit, tolerance and factory correct hardware. Dial and crystal are inspected under magnification for particles before sealing.

05

Lume Inspection

Dial and hand lume are charged and checked for even, consistent glow across all markers, confirming no dead markers and correct response for the build.

06

Power Reserve Check

The movement is fully wound and monitored to confirm it holds power and keeps time across the reserve rated for its calibre. Automatic winding via the rotor is verified through simulated wear motion.

07

Multi Angle Aesthetic Inspection

Under raking light and magnification, case, dial, bezel and crystal are inspected from multiple angles for finishing marks, swarf or blemishes. Anything short of standard is corrected or the piece is rebuilt.

08

Final Clean & Sign Off

The completed watch is carefully cleaned by hand, the crystal and case are cleared of handling marks, and a final visual and timing pass is logged before the piece is boxed for dispatch.
