An unstamped warranty card is a manufacturer's guarantee card that has not been dated and stamped by an authorised dealer. It is common with watches sold outside a brand's official dealer network, and it does not mean the watch is fake.
Why cards are unstamped
Brands give warranty cards to their authorised dealers, who stamp and date them at the point of sale. When a genuine watch reaches you through another route, such as an independent retailer, the card is usually left blank.
Does it affect authenticity?
No. The watch, movement, box and booklet are the same. Authenticity is about the watch itself, which is why we inspect every piece on our bench rather than relying on paperwork alone.
What it does affect
An unstamped card usually means the manufacturer's own warranty may not apply. That is the honest trade-off, and you should know about it before you buy.
